After having success in a dying genre of underground pop rock, the band formally known as This Twilight City has changed directions bringing their darker, more aggressive alter ego to the forefront. The two main song writers, Alex Lee and Brandon Spearman, have not only changed musical directions but have also changed the name of the project to Apparitions. Apparitions has easily bridged the gap between pop and metal making it a smooth transition for their old fans and broadening the target audience, which has brought them many new listeners as well. The debut full-length album, “Kiss Me Sleeping”, features reworked This Twilight City songs as well as brand new music never heard before. The new album has been described by the band as more of a collaboration effort with many known and unknown musicians that the band has meet along their journey through the music industry, with the help of producer Jamie King (Between The Buried And Me, Alesana, Dr. Acula). “Kiss Me Sleeping” is due to be released this fall.
