Date Palms, the Oakland based duo of Gregg Kowalsky and Marielle Jakobsons, will be releasing their third full-length album, The Dusted Sessions, on the label this June. On The Dusted Sessions, Date Palms elegantly fuses elements of modern drone and Eastern traditional music, using the electric bass, violin, tanpura, keyboards, and for the first time, guitar. The album was recorded by Phil Manley at LCR (Wooden Shjips, The Alps, Oneida).
