Med School protégé Lung is not a new name to fans of the label - and there are a few. Featured on their much-acclaimed New Blood and Blood Pressure compilations as well as releasing his own EP last year, he's been a busy lad behind the scenes.
Wait Less Suspense is his début full-length LP and shows a progression in his sounds and techniques, using a range of tempos, genres from drum and bass, dubstep, garage and house to produce a sound that's uniquely his.
Emotional, deep and at times beautiful, the album is unobtrusively experimental and takes the Med School line of fresh, inspired beats and clear musicality.
Featuring such talented co-conspirators as Tiiu, Phaeleh and previous partner in crime Rachel K. Collier, it's something a little bit different and for that, it's definitely worth your time.
