Sleigh Bells return with “Bitter Rivals”, the lead single and title track to their upcoming third studio album, due out October 8th through Mom + Pop Music. Spanning 10 tracks, Bitter Rivals was produced by guitarist Derek Miller and mixed by Andrew Dawson (Yeezus, Wolf, Watch the Throne). Pre-orders are now ongoing via iTunes.
In an interview with The Huffington Post back in October 2012, Miller said the album’s sound is a “a lot more clean…it might sound surprising.” Meanwhile, singer Alexis Krauss described her vocals as more “melodically” with a hint of R&B. “I use my voice in more of a, dare I say, traditional way.”
Oh man so excited for this one. This fall is going to be such a good line up with Sleigh Bells, The Naked and Famous, Cults, and Phantogram all releasing new albums.
I’m hyped for this but Sleigh Bells, why no Minneapolis date? I love Doldrums and SB. I want them here too and not 7 hours away. *shrug*
