Taylor Momsen's band The Pretty Reckless are finally releasing news on their sophomore album which will be titled "Going to Hell." Not much has been announced of it yet, but the band released their first single, presumably from it, entitled "Kill Me" back in January, and then everything was silent. Now there's finally a teaser and apparently more teasers to follow on Mondays.

Judging from this teaser trailer her band The Pretty Reckless just dropped, she’s been hard at work in the studio. The band has a new album, called Going To Hell, out later this year. We’re not sure what it’s going to sound like, since the trailer is more about Momsen running through the woods panting than doing any sort of singing, but it is the first of what they’re dubbing Hell Mondays. As the blonde actress-rocker put it, “Hell Mondays’ are intended to give our fans something to look forward to on what is arguably the most hellish day of the week.”
Fittingly, the band launched a website with a triple-X url–www.GoingToHell.xxx. We promise that it’s (mostly) SFW.
She also added, “This is not a new chapter in the life of the band; it’s a new book [...] The band has matured and our sound has evolved dramatically. The record took almost a year to make. It’s gratifying knowing it’s nearing completion. I’m very excited to get new music out for our fans very soon.”

Suddenly Mondays just started looking a bit brighter, didn't they?
As part of the Hell Mondays campaign, the special this week was the release of a lyrics video for new song “Follow Me Down.” It’s been added as the video in place of the teaser from last week!

Judging by ‘Going to Hell’ (which disappointingly has yet to be released in the NZ iTunes Store) the album is going to be great! I quite like the heavier nature of the few songs we’ve heard so far – it’s heavy, but still accessible for all.
The lack of information that gets out about the album is also a wee but unfortunate, but in the end I guess we’d all rather a great album with minimal band-driven hype than a hyped-up flop.
Rumored to be coming out in March. I’ve read a few reviews, one even went so far as to list track titles. I’ll be looking for a leak over the next few weeks.

From what songs I’ve heard so far that are due to be on the album – I’m actually really excited for the album release!
Even without the whole visual aspect – how Taylor dressed/acts for concerts/music videos – I think they are a fantastic band and their music is awesome.
Fan from their first album and previous releases and hopefully “Going To Hell” will be just as great as their older work.
The album is great. Everything I expected it would be. It rocks for sure.
Found a good leak, a simple google search will get the job done for anyone interested. Listening to the album now, haven’t hit the new tracks just yet.
