Bassist extraordinaire Stephen Bruner, aka Thundercat, has announced the follow-up to his great 2011 album The Golden Age of Apocalypse. The new one is simply titled Apocalypse, and it's out July 9 via Brainfeeder (and July 8 in Europe). The album was executive produced by Brainfeeder head honcho Flying Lotus, who co-wrote and co-produced "Heartbreaks + Setbacks" (above) with Bruner and Mono/Poly.

Thundercat and Flying Lotus are also about to head out on tour together. Check out their dates below the album's tracklist.
