Ultraísta was formed by Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, who is also a member of Atoms for Peace. With Joey Waronker (also in Atoms for Peace) on drums and Laura Bettinson (check here solo project Dimbleby & Capper) on vocals Ultraísta delivered their self-titled debut album at the beginning of 2012. In August of this year an album will be released called "Ultraísta remixes" containing remixes of songs from the debut album by the likes of Four Tet, Prefuse 73, Matthew Herbert, Zammuto and Zero 7. Ultraísta has been compared to the latter of these, besides having been compared to Stereolab.
The remix album will be released on vinyl by Temporary Residence Ltd.
