With pioneering electronic music artist & deadmau5 at the helm, the mau5trap label have never been ones to do things by the book, and the new We Are Friends compilation showcases their fresh and forward thinking attitude in abundance. Priding themselves on being committed to uncovering and supporting fresh talent. The compilation gathers together 11 tracks with the likes of Deadmau5, Eekkoo and the man that won a competition held earlier this year, Aron H, making an appearance with his winning track "Entrance".

We Are Friends… yep, it’s the announcement… finally ;)
We had more than 1000 entries into our We Are Friends competition this year. Some seriously cool stuff, so everyone who took part should be proud of themselves. After lots of heated debates at mau5trap headquarters we managed to pick out 10 runner-ups and you guys fought ferociously for your favourite.
mau5 listened… mau5 contemplated… and mau5 picked a winner. This victorious contestant will be featured on We Are Friends: Volume 2, released before 2013 is out.
