Girl-duo Vulkano is the raw and gritty offspring of cheerful girl group Those Dancing Days. Combining the best of pop and psychedelic rock, they create music that is both powerful and mystical. Drummer Cissi Efraimsson adds her expressive vocals on the tracks while Lisa Pyk Wirström works the keyboard and percussion. They refer to Vulkano’s music as “spiritual punk ‘n’ art” and say the main focus lies in not only the music, but also in visual expression.
The duo are set to release their debut album Live Wild Die Free on the 3 February through their own label.
