Seattle-based psych-pop rock band Black Whales have charted a steady rise complimented by their imminently catchy brand of psych-pop. The ear worm melodies of the band have led to slots with The Breeders, Wooden Shjips, Vetiver, The Presidents of the United States of America, and fests like SXSW, CMJ, San Diego Music Thing, Sasquatch! and Bumbershoot.
Their second single “Tiny Prisms” from their forthcoming full-length album entitled Through The Prism, Gently, is the perfect happy medium between influences like Kurt Vile, The Velvet Underground, and The Flaming Lips.
