Deftones are set to release their new album on April 8th. Or at least, that's the rumor. Nothing has been confirmed or denied. An advance stream of the album was supposedly given to a journalist, which seems itself highly unlikely as it would be very early in the promo process.
And April 8th is a Monday, when release dates are often set on a Friday. And the album cover included is purely fan art. But since we know that Eros has been shelved for now, let's use this entry as a placeholder for anything Deftones related.

Yeah I think they messed up again. I am certain there is no leak at this time. This happened with the their last album “Koi No Yokan” as well. So frustrating.

Has it Leaked is community based, not one person is reporting the leaks. Me and the mods try to keep up, and we mostly rely on our trust point system – Which has failed us this time, because of an ill placed April’s fools joke and a few trigger happy fingers (including my own!). For now, stick with your pre-order. Also, I know you’re pissed. But we’re allowed to make mistakes when reporting, and we’re not here to supply actual download links. We’re fans, just like you.
Acid Hologram has an Entombed vibe mixed with SNW. Not bad.

It was up on a Russian social media site earlier for a few hours before being taken down. I still have the page with the link buffered up at home, but I’m sitting at the office right now. A few others are floating around the internet somewhere. Around half the album as leaked, but it is a real bitch to get to them.

Yeah, but in order to maintain your credibility you need to audit the leaks. Otherwise you appear incompetent. I’m not trying to just bash you I’m just saying it’s not good for your image or business. Deftones fans are very passionate so this doesn’t come off well.
