Dry The River is your tipical rock.folkish band and they get their job done right. Their previous record: Shallow Bed + Sallow Bed (acoustic) is a beatuful album, full of amazing tracks.
Their first single, Gethsemane made us think that aparently this new album walks among the same path of its predecesor. Whith a beautiful calm sound that soon turned into a powerful tune Gethsemane is just as good as dry the river can be.
However, their second single Everlasting light turned out to be a diferent story. A simple song accompanied by a simple riff and a simple repetitive chorus took the most of us by surprise, not a bad surprise, really, just a different one, which broke the promise of a solid style that we heard on their previous record. With this in mind I can´t wait to hear what will the Sons of the river bring along this time.
