Henrietta is not a band that got together and released music in a hurry. They took their time. Six years, to be exact. The Florida-based alt-rockers made sure their band was exactly where they wanted it to be before releasing their debut album.
"We recorded this album at home with the help of some good friends," explains drummer John Chapman. "It's pretty much a collage of weird moments in life and trying to figure out how to deal with them. Our main goals were to create something that we would be completely proud of once it was finished, and to share it with as many people as possible."
The Trick Is Not Minding is slated for an August 26 release via Animal Style Records.
