Planet Mu will release an album from Hieroglyphic Being, real name Jamal Moss, on October 6th.

The Seer Of Cosmic Visions comprises nine remastered tracks from Moss's extensive back catalogue. It'll be released under a new alias for the Chicago producer: Hieroglyphic Being And The Configurative Or Modular Me Trio. It'll be Moss's second appearance on Planet Mu, following last year's collaborative EP with Ital as Interplanetary Prophets.

Speaking to Electronic Beats last year, Planet Mu chief Mike Paradinas revealed his enthusiasm for Moss's distinctive, uncompromising style: "His music's produced quite weirdly, he doesn't do the expected things—there'll be no bass on the kick drum, for instance; or there'll be weird scraping noises going on in the background all the way through. It makes for really interesting atmospheres and it sounds like there are no emotional limits to the sound world he puts you in. Either that, or it just sounds a bit crazy."
