This time last year Phosphorescent played a for night series of shows at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. Featuring a seven piece band and a string trio, Matthew Houck performed songs from spanning a decade of his career. Those legendary sets were pared down to 19 distilled beauties that will grace an upcoming three LP set Live At The Music Hall, out February 17th on Dead Oceans.

More from Houck:

“After eight months of touring, we’d gotten to a really good point where we weren’t quite exhausted yet with the material, but we’d had enough time to really grow with the songs. So we were in that sweet spot where we were pulling something great out of the songs every night.”
