Groundbreaking singer/songwriter Ryan Adams has announced the follow up to 2011's Ashes & Fire. It's called, quite simply, Ryan Adams. The self-produced record is out September 8 on his Pax-Am label. He's also shared lead single "Gimme Something Good", which you can hear on Spotify.
The chances of Adams going back to the morose, gorgeous stylings of Love is Hell are slim, but this album is much anticipated nonetheless.
Although Adams have let us down throughout the years (mostly because of him releasing just about everything), I still get excited when an album gets announced. And I was surprised as to how good the last one was.
Thanks for adding @whittaker1
Yeah, the last one was pretty solid. I actually miss the days of him releasing just about everything. Some great material came from that practice.
:r)
I can’t wait for this! Everything heard so far from the new album sounds great.
Now if he’ll just actually, finally release Blackhole!

how does one find Exystence?
Really good record. Probably his best since Gold and may even be better. He’s had good material on other records, but some of them lacked cohesion or came across forced on whole.
