The name of the new album is accurate: Change, bringing real changes with it. It feels more seasoned, melodious, profound and emotional. While at the same time not losing any of the brazen liveliness and raw honesty of the music. In comparison with their previous album Open Zoo, the band has gone up another gear. After several tours through half of Europe, including concerts with Matt „Gonzo“ Roehr, Shakra, Bonafide, Blaze Bayley, Rhino Bucket, Van Canto, In Legend and at national and international festivals, the four band members are anything but tired. On the contrary, they have tasted blood and are hungry for more. Inspiration for this Swiss band is primarily the hard rock and heavy metal from the eighties. Swiss band? Shezoo, consisting of Natacha, Micha, Joey and Dana, is a Swiss band without any Swiss! They are a European union on Zurichs soil: Holland, Germany and Austria rocking together. As different as these nations, so are the four characters which, taken together, form a strong and distinctive unit.
The fantastic response to the last CD Open Zoo can be seen in magazines such as ‘Heavy’, ‘Rock Hard’ and ‘Rock it’. With this coverage Shezoo attracted international attention. This earned them numerous online reviews and radio airplay in Switzerland as well as abroad (such as in England, Germany, Austria, Holland etc.).
Open Zoo’s successor, Change, is now ready to step into these footsteps.

Biographical highlights:
2006: Formation of Shezoo with 6 women (Monika, Pat, Natacha, Sony, Claudia and Dana) and first live performance in Zu?rich (2 guitars, 2 basses, drums, vocals).
2007: Various live performances in Switzerland.
2008: Participation in Demotapeclinic, CD Release of Zoo Book, Chräen Openair and performance at Anker Interlaken together with the Punk legends ‘The Bucks’.
2009: Promotional tour of Holland with TV appearances, Participation in the ‘Metal Battle’ for Openair Wacken, Gig at Mascotte Zu?rich, Supporting act for Drifter (CH) and Vicious Irene (SE), True as Steel Festival. Sony leaves the band and Shezoo are now five.
2010: Heavy Xmas Festival in Grafenhausen together with Van Canto, In Legend and We Butter the Bread with Butter. Claudia leaves the band and is replaced by Joey, Pat quits the band to be replaced by Eliane. Monika also announces her leaving and the hunt for a new guitarist begins.
2011: Micha is found as a worthy replacement for the guitarists. Shezoo now has a man in the band and continues as a foursome with a new lineup. They record and promote the CD Open Zoo. Performances with Shakra, Bonafide, Killer and Gonoreas bring the new formation many new fans. All this is crowned with the CD release, a Holland tour and airplay on various radio stations in Switzerland and abroad. The year cumulates with gigs in Austria, deepening the band’s success.
2012: Support for Blaze Bayley (formerly of Iron Maiden) and broadcast of the performance on Swiss television’s ‘Switzerland ‘s Got Talent’ with phenomenal reactions from the jury around DJ Bobo. Now it’s clear: Switzerland listens to Shezoo! Festivals in Switzerland, Austria and Germany, tour through Germany, Holland and Belgium.
2013: Production of Change with Connie Andreszka (Mystic Prophecy etc ), Axel Friedrich (Royal Guitar Club etc) and Christoph Brandes (Iguana Studios).
Mini Tour with Nick Hellfort, performance at legendary ‘The Rock Temple’ in Kerkrade NL with Matt “Gonzo” Roehr, Festivals in Switzerland and Holland.
