Young Thug Barter 6

Yupp, you read it right. In an interview with DJ Whoo Kid, Young Thug confirmed that his debut studio album will be titled "Tha Carter VI". You can view the interview below. Thugger is known as a huge fan of Lil Wayne and "Tha Carter V" will be Weezy's final album so Weezy will never be releasing a sixth installment himself. Thug chose to name his album this as a tribute to Lil Wayne. The only confirmed track is "Stoner" which so far has peaked at #52 on the Billboard Hot 100. So far nothing else is known about the LP other than it's name, stay tuned as more information becomes available.

Though "Tha Carter V" was originally supposed to be Lil Wayne's last album, Weezy has stated multiple times that there are plenty more albums he plans on releasing. This has led Young Thug to come out and say that he still plans on taking over "Tha Carter" series no matter where Lil Wayne ends it. Though there are more albums from Lil Wayne, none have been confirmed to be a new "Tha Carter" album, but if Lil Wayne were to end it at 6, this album's title would be "Tha Carter VII". Young Thug has also stated that he wants to release the same amount of "Tha Carter" entries as Lil Wayne has.

After all the speculation and controversy of what might be one of the most head-scratching releases many have ever seen. So many questions have been asked about what the title of this will be. But now, after lawsuit threats were made (presumably by Lil Wayne), the title has been changed to "Barter 6". And this will no longer be the debut album from Young Thug, a mixtape instead.
