It's an Aphex Twin album – what else do you need to know?
Aphex Twin, aka Richard D. James, has announced yet another release following his floodgate-opening 2014 LP, Syro. Orphaned Deejay Selek (2006-2008), out August 21 on Warp, heralds the return of his AFX moniker, dormant since the Analord series on Rephlex which ran from 2003-2005. It'll be available on 12” and CD (either in a die-cut or spot-glossed sleeve), as well as digitally.
Artist is really “AFX” not “Aphex Twin”.
The EP that has ‘leaked’ has at least one fake track – the third track, Oberheim blacet1b – is nothing like the track exclusively played on the Mary-Anne Hobbs Radio6 programme.
