Blond:ish will release their first album, Welcome To The Present, via Kompakt on October 23rd.
The duo of Anstascia D'Elene and Vivie-Ann Bakos emerged on the scene out of their native Montreal in 2012, the year they released the Lovers In Limbo EP on Kompakt. They've continued to work with the Cologne institution as their sound has transitioned from tech house to incorporate more psychedelic and Eastern influences, mirroring their regular appearances at Burning Man. The label says Welcome To The Present "sees the duo embark on a universal journey, departing from the club comfort zone."
