Merging the fast-paced and anthemic sounds of turn-of-the-century pop punk with the pop sensibilities and catchiness of modern pop rock, FigureItOut are bringing an updated version of a nostalgic sound to a new generation of fans. After separately performing in various musical projects, Arizona-based pop punk trio FigureItOut, comprised of long time friends Mike Weakley (Vocals,Guitar), AJ Ward (Drums), and Matt Walker (Bass), came together to create music with a common foundational interest. Their goal? To bring youthful energy and an all-encompassing sense of fun to a new era of listeners. The band released their debut 4 song EP “Where You Started From” (produced by Matt Good of From First To Last) and their holiday single “Hello, December” and the last two months of 2014. FigureItOut returned to Matt Good to produce their sophomore EP in summer 2015. They released their cover or Jason Derulo's "Want To Want Me" and their original song "Nothing To Lose (ft. Beau Bokan of Blessthefall)", leading to features in Alternative Press, Rock Sound, Substream Magazine, AbsolutePunk, Pup Fresh, and more. The band are preparing for the December 2015 release of their sophomore EP, "Nothing To Lose," with plans to tour in support of the release in 2016. FigureItOut are bringing their anthemic pop punk to a national audience amongst a heavy resurgence of the pop punk genre.
