Influenced by singers such as Cássia Eller, Elis Regina and the north-american Jeff Buckley, Filipe Catto is a young gaucho exponent of Brazilian Popular Music. In 2011, he released his first album, "Fôlego". Also accompanied by a DVD, the live record "Entre Cabelos, Olhos & Furacões" reached the public in 2013. "Tomada" (Universal Music / Musical Natura) is the second studio album of the artist, with new songs and expected to launch in 2015. With production by Kassin, it explores the vocal range and the origins of the singer, mixing the gaucho rock with samba and Latin music.
The best Brazilian singer ever. If you like good music you have to listen to Filipe Catto. Besides a special voice, he’s also a great song writer.
Tomada is a great record and you won’t regret if you research about this wonderful artist.
