GENGAHR DROP SURPRISE EP ‘TIRED EYES’
The new release lands ahead of their UK and European tour.
Gengahr have dropped a surprise EP ahead of their UK and European tour next month. ‘Tired Eyes’ is headed up by a live favourite, and also includes two previously unheard tracks recorded during sessions for their debut album ‘A Dream Outside’.
The band worked with Nicholas Vernhes - who has previously produced for Animal Collective, Deerhunter, and The War On Drugs - on title track ‘Tired Eyes’. “We have been huge admirers of Nicholas Vernhes and all the incredible records he has produced and recorded,” said Gengahr frontman Felix Bushe speaking about the partnership. “It was a real dream come true to find that he was a fan of what we were doing and be given the opportunity to work together and a song of ours.”
Next month Gengahr head out on tour, and they’re also set to release an expanded deluxe version of ‘A Dream Outside’ on 30th September. The debut originally came out in June this year. As well as ‘Tired Eyes’ EP tracks ‘Loki’ and ‘Fade To Black,’ the deluxe version will also include b-side ‘Haunter’ and recent Fugazi cover ‘I’m So Tired’.
