Gloryhammer has just released their latest album, called 'Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards'.
Their official Facebook statement was as following:
"GLORYHAMMER RECORDING NEW ALBUM
Greetings, mighty warriors! It is time to begin the next chapter in the epic saga of Gloryhammer. Today we have entered the studio to record our second album, entitled "Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards". As you read this message, the mysterious hermit Ralathor (aka Ben Turk) is laying down the drum tracks at LSD Studios in Germany, with producer Lasse Lammert taking the helm at the mixing desk. We will have more updates for you in the coming weeks, as we reveal further details about the album. Prepare yourselves for a thunderous assault of heroic fantasy power metal which will tear apart the very fabric of the universe!
Eternal Hoots & Hails,
Dark Lord Zargothrax (aka Christopher Bowes)"
Gloryhammer is a band from Scotland, formed in 2010, with behind the keyboards Christopher Bowes from Alestorm.
They've gained fame throughout the scene with their first album 'Tales From The Kingdom Of Fife'.
Mixing epic battles and themes with hilarity, Gloryhammer is a band worth your listen.
While it entertains and makes you chant the lyrics cheerfully, the music is well thought-out and competes with others in the genre.
Personally I went to see them at a festival without knowing anything they'd released so far.
They're so much fun live, and everything about them is just screaming 'have a good time!', and so it's practically impossible not to get carried away with the crowd, with a smile and headbanging to silly tunes.
Gloryhammer is the party.
