Pludo (real name Anthony Kupinic) is an Australian singer/songwriter/producer/street performer with a super uber mega percussive twist.

Merging an electronic indie pop rock sound with percussive influences from productions such as Stomp or Blue Man Group, Pludo translates magical songwriting into a highly entertaining and spectacular live show.

In 2005 Anthony began his professional music career as the lead singer & songwriter for the alternative rock band A Sound Mind. He wrote the song “The Power To Dream” which was featured in the NFL superbowl 2011 highlights & the AFL 2011 grand final. He also wrote the song “Grace” which has been broadcast on over 65 radio stations, he has toured through Europe & Australia, performed live on 2 major Tv shows & sold over 40,000 records.

After A Sound Mind split in December 2010, Anthony spent the next 16 months writing, recording and producing material for Pludo. Stylistically although there are still quite a few elements reflective of Anthony's earlier work with A Sound Mind, there is a definite steer away from traditional band music towards something far more new aged and unique.

Pludo was originally started as Anthony's solo project but whilst in Sydney he started jamming with first drummer Alex cooper busking on a drum set made out of buckets. In a very organic way, day by day the percussive elements grew a life off their own and developed into what is today a definite highlight of the Pludo live show. Now working with various percussionists and drummers all over the country, what started as a street show has turned into a large stage festival show.

In the media, Pludo’s debut single Frenemies was added to rotation on Triple M in October 2012. In May 2013 things started to really gain momentum for the band when they signed a 3 year label deal with ctrl Alt records with distribution through Universal Music Australia. On June 14th they released their 2nd single "Haywire" which lead to them signing a major TV sync deal with Southern Cross Austereo's channel 10 for the use of their action packed Haywire video clip.

Following the release of the single "Haywire" they released a limited edition 7 track Haywire mini album which debuted in the Australian Aria Charts at #19 and jumped 11 spots to #8 on AIR charts.

In late January 2013 Pludo kicked off their second Australian East Coast Tour "The Frenemies Tour" including a support slot with one of their most favourite Australian acts "The Potbelleez".

In support of the release of Haywire Pludo have performed well over 300 live shows on the street, at venues and at festivals. Standout events include, Caxton Street Festival, Wollombi festival, White Night Festival, Moomba Festival, The Hifi (Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne), The Governor Hindmarsh, The Zoo, the Esplanade Hotel, Brisbane International Tennis Tournament (Nova radio tent) & much more....;
