In May 2015, R. Kelly announced that his new album would be titled "Buffet" and that a new song off of the album is titled "Planet" which is inspired by the events in 2015 Baltimore protests.
On July 14, 2015, R. Kelly announced that "Buffet" will be released September 25, 2015 and that the first single will be "Marching Band" featuring Juicy J and Wale.
