Musically, i love these guys. However, lyrically, i hate how they blatantly talk down to religious people. Given the album title, guessing this album wont be any different :( Still excited to give it a listen though.

This time the word god as we can see in the trailer is a larger word than the religious god. It counts military, economic and political “Gods”.
In another hand, it is honest of them to talk clairly about how they feel about a subject. After that everyone is free to listen or not, even I understand that it is harder to listen for religious practitioners.

I don’t want to be a dick, but they are not great musically, Sam vocals are definitly their stronger point, other than that there are a lot of talented musicians “in the same genre” the only reason they shine out for me is about their wise written lyrics, literraly and metaphoric use… thats where they differ from the rest for me..

They’re lyrics are written between sam and one or two of the guitarists i’m pretty sure, it’s all of them collaborating on lyrics, as well as music

Watch Sam’s interview on Load TV (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9GvtqeEJm8) He talks about this. My understanding of what is said is it’s actually quite the opposite of your comment. The album title reflects how our traditional gods have abandoned us (society as a whole) because we’ve abandoned them in the ways of glorifying other people as gods and thinking of ourselves as gods. As is the case with much of their content I think there intent is to comment on the general state of the world, not the individuals who may also see the truth behind the sheep of the world.

Meh. Plenty of bands spew their religious views – Architects spew their anti-religious views.

Added artwork + tracklist with numbers.
Hmm..artwork reminds me a lot of A Thousand Suns by Linkin Park.
    Interesting.

The next song (and final) to be released until the initial release of the album is supposedly “Gravity”.

I haven’t heard the teasers for it because I don’t want the whole song to be spoiled. I can tell you it will probably premiere this Saturday if not then during the weekend. Expect the album to leak Monday~Wednesday next week.

How can you know when? Last album leaked 2 weeks before its premiere so I think we can expect it soon.

They’re premiering Gravity this Saturday on the radio. I don’t see another reason why they would show up at the radio as a whole band. Seems reasonable to debut a new song, especially when it’s been teased already. There’s one week left until this album is officialy released and since release dates are now on Friday it’s usually rare for an album to leak a week before (Special cases are The Weeknd’s Beauty Behind The Madness and Saosin’s Along The Shadow which leaked 1 week and 2 weeks before its initial release respectively).

They’re premiering Downfall this Friday. Well that’s a waste of teasing Gravity

That leak was unexpected, ie. they don’t happen often with popular releases. It was a fluke. But, now that we are closing in on release week, expect it soon ;)

This album is just incredible. I can’t even choose a favorite song because they’re all my favorites.
Memento Mori has to be the best album closer they’ve ever done. Biggest effort ever.
