Two discs, nearly 80 minutes of music is coming your way on November 18, 2016... yes, THIS YEAR!
Hardwired… represents the next phase of our journey as Metallica and we are so excited to share it with you. If anyone was tuned into radio station 93X in Minneapolis earlier today, you heard the world debut of the first track, “Hardwired” and we’re hoping you’ll hear a lot more of it in the coming days. Produced by Greg Fidelman, along with James and Lars, this is our 11th studio album and is available for pre-order in a variety of configurations including 12 songs on a double CD, vinyl, digital download, as well as a deluxe version with the riffs that were the origins of the album. Everyone who pre-orders the album through Metallica.com will receive an instant download of the song “Hardwired.”

I heard it leaked somewhere. It’s on the Metallica forums.
A guy livestreamed himself listening to the entire album last night on facebook. It was pretty low quality and he was talking over most of it but it was amazing. Spit Out the Bone is a classic Metallica song! Sadly there is no leak yet. But people definitely have the album now so it’s a matter of when they decide to rip and upload it.
BTW The streamer said his local Walmart broke the street date so if anyone wants to try their luck today. That’s probably a good place to start.

Apparently some stores have broken street date and copies of the album have gotten out there. It could leak anytime now.

You can listen to a shitty copy of “Spit Out the Bone” that leaked on Reddit. Bad quality, I’m waiting for the real deal which I’d think should be sometime today.

hasitleaked now says it leaked but it’s not on any major torrent website. To me that means it didn’t leak, it means a bunch of people has it.

Sounds very Black Album-era, right? Sonics and pacing, at least. Immediately brought to mind that album, with a flourish of Load-like vocal flourishes, and some decent solos thrown in the mix. Solid, but not spectacular.

I’ve been listening to the full record for the past 5 hours, it have a STRONG Load/Reload feeling.
Only one or maybe two songs have a Load/Reload feel. The album is better than both, though.

After 1 listen, seems to me its à very good metallica album. Réponds me of the black album for the harmonies and slow riffs, some load as well (rock flavour) and DM overral. Very good singing by James. Actually Im excited to listent to it again which ill do right now ! Metallicaaaaaa !

Eight years to put out twelve songs, and more than half of them sucked. The only good song on the second cd was the last one, outside of that the three singles and Moth to Flame were solid, the rest was pretty forgettable.
The first CD is great, the second cd sucks. Except the last song on it. Btw the three singles are solid, so that makes for me a score of 8/10
I am still listening to this album and i love it! it was much better than i expected, i just hope that they don’t take 8 years again to release another album.
