Ethiopian producer Mikael Seifu's latest opus Zelalem EP is an ode to Ethiopia's past, embracing it's culture rather than westernizing it or perverting it's history to capitalize on its marketability. Composed of Seifu's unique production style and collaborations between traditional Ethiopian musicians, Zelalem provides a unique take on traditional Ethiopian culture and music.
Additionally, Seifu has announced a cassette mixtape to be released alongside the EP which is composed of native Ethiopian and African Folk music.
