New song sounds promising. I really hope the record can reach old heights like Primo Victoria or Attero Dominatus. I really love the records since Art of War, but Heroes was really awful except 2 or 3 songs.
That’s utter bull. Attero and Primo were good, Art of War as well but Carolus Rex has got to be there best. Heros to be strives off from Power Metal but its still really good and if you don’t like the music the stories are interesting as well.
Honestly, I don’t get what there is do dislike about Heroes. The only song I found to be rather unsightly was the Ballad of Bull but it starts to grow on you a little each time you listen to it.
Let us just say Hereos is okay. But it is not as good as previous records.

No Bullets Fly, Hearts of Iron, Far From Fame (about my countryman, Karel Janoušek, which is awesome), are one of the Sabaton’s best songs. But honestly they have no bad songs, some ordinary like speeder or inmate 4859. And that’s only music side of them. Since 2005 I have seen them every year at least once and they still grow as group musically and also as mentors. Their “cover” of Battle Beast’s Out of Control and touring with them got BB on my radar, made me a fan as well. From this year tour they took Wisdom as support and for that occasion Joacim sang a song with Wisdom.
Sabaton also supported Iron Maiden on part of the Europe tour and Sabaton is even going to have Accept as support! next year when promoting The Last Stand. There is no way one can say Sabaton gonna be better if they go back to Primo Victoria (awesome song and album) but if you are not AC/DC or Iron Maiden you have to evolve
Too bad they’re opening for fucking Trivium on their upcoming USA tour. They should be headlining here!

It seems they have extra security on this one. I remember years ago when albums leaked 3 weeks to 2 months in advance. Let’s pretend we’re in pre-internet days where we have to actually wait for the release date. LOL :)
No extra security is needed on promo releases, there tagged with your name,adress.. if it leakes and it has your information, you get sued to death. Album leaks nowdays are from the retail channel..
Some still leak that early. Avantasia’s “Ghostlights” came out back in January but leaked a whole month early
But Avantasia leaked because it was available on Spotify for like 1 hour back in december 2015.

Not a masterpiece for sure. Good album though, but not better than Heroes.
