From Pitchfork: The Flaming Lips have announced a new album called Oczy Mlody, their follow-up to 2013’s The Terror, 2014’s Beatles covers record With a Little Help From My Fwends and last year's Miley Cyrus collaboration Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz. Oczy Mlody is out January 13 (Wayne Coyne's birthday) via Warner Bros. Records, as the Future Heart reports and an iTunes listing confirms.

    Yes! First single already sounds like a mosaic of their sounds and tones through the years and this particular track (the castle) seems to draw from Clouds Taste Metallic, but there’s a lot going on and I’ll have to listen several more times. YES! In the often used stage words of Wayne Coyne, “C’mon M^1her F^(+ers!!!!!”

      To me, it sounded like kind of a cross between the mid 90s era and the slow jams from the Soft Bulletin/Yoshimi era, but yeah, there’s a lot going on… just great! Hope the album lives up to the single, but I’m not really worried about it. They’re surely gonna blow everyone’s mind, like with every studio album they release.
