The Rifles 'Big Life' due out 29th July, was recorded and produced at Abbey Road Studios and will now be a double album. It will be their 5th release and promises to continue to expand on their trademark Mod, rock n' roll, and timeless indie pop sound.
Last year to mark 10 years since The Rifles were born, they re-released a remastered deluxe edition of their debut album No Love Lost, to celebrate that release they put together a playlist for us which you can find here.
They have bene keeping fans informed of the albums progress via social media, after cancelling their April tour and rescheduling it for October (full dates listed below). The band said that this was in order to finish the album so they can make the July release date, and then hit the road with the new tunes. Listen to the new track 'Numero Uno' below.
Lead singer Joel Stoker on the choice to make it a double album -
"It was just a case of having trouble picking the 11 or 12 songs for the album. There wasn't any that we wanted to leave off so we decided to just throw them all on. It's just a case of giving our fans as much music as possible"
Below you can watch the video for their hit single 'Local Boy' originally released in 2005, now with remastered audio taken from the anniversary edition of 'No Love Lost'.
