Cynical lovebird and crooning artist Father John Misty will be following his extremely successful 2015 LP "I Love You, Honeybear" this March with his third studio release, "Pure Comedy." The title track, released January 23rd, was debuted at a benefit concert in Seattle, where the former Fleet Foxes member promised the new album for a Spring release. The video for the single includes memes incorporated during the most recent election cycle, not surprising as Misty has made his political beliefs very public.
Is the leak legit ?
Yeah, would be nice to know.
Yes. Full album at 320kbps.
Have you actually been able to download and listened to it?
Seems like everyone is just stuck on queueing for it on soulseek
Yes.
Goddamnit, Soulseek doesn’t count.
Not questioning the original leak reporters validity, but I agree that Soulseek shouldn’t count. Until it’s readily available on file-sharing sites, it shouldn’t be marked as leaked.
Second source now.
As far as this site is concerned Soulseek is fine as a leak source.
And have a think about it … where do you think the “second source” heard of the album being available and then obtained it from?
Leak originated at Redacted (formerly PassTheHeadphones)
Why is the album rating so low? 5.5? what?
I wouldn’t give it that low of a rating, not that a score based on 8 ratings is indicative of the albums quality, but for me personally this album has the same problem I had with his first one. It has a very strong start with it’s first song being both a great intro and a great title track, and then the album sort of drags a bit too long with some of its slower songs despite the songs still having interesting commentary in it’s lyrics. I really like his music and song writing but I can never fully ENJOY his albums as a whole because of the pacing. I’m not the biggest fan of singer/songwriter or folk music anyway so maybe that is a big part of it but i would probably give this a 7/10.
@gogobizkitt good response, I can pretty much agree with that.
