Glassjaw is a legendary post hardcore band from Long Island, NY, fronted by vocalist Daryl Palumbo and guitarist Justin Beck.
They had two albums: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence in 2000, and Worship & Tribute in 2002. Material Control is their first album in 15 years, and its first single, New White Extremity, was released exactly two years before the album.
I CAN FEEL IT IN MY BONES
Box sets of ten 7″ flexi discs are going out to reviewers for the new album. It’s 10 songs with two instrumental tracks (Bastille Day and Material Control), and it’s rumored to come out tomorrow possibly.
There a webrip leak of this out there btw. It’s very low quality and cuts off at points. Album is dark and heavy though. I wasn’t disappointed.
Where is it ?
Basically a reviewer received a set of the plexi promos. He then played them one by one in order on a FB livestream. Some people in the “glassjaw familia” FB group found out and ripped the livestream. So as you can imiagine the quality is very poor. (A rip of a live stream of a mic’d vinyl plexi)

Until now, I still can’t believe that Glassjaw will seriously gonna release their much awaited album on Dec 1st. It’s like living in a dream.
I don’t want to wait for the new GJ album because I’ve been waiting for fuckin’ 15 years for a new one xD
I really hope one of those lucky bastards who got the Plexis will rip this.

I badly hope that someone would leak this, damn! I keep listening to a shitty fb stream rip. Kinda wondering, why Glassjaw still haven’t release any promotional single (other than NWE)? Considering it’s almost under two weeks before the release of the new album. God, they really a weird band.

Considering how the album is basically being self-released, I wouldn’t be surprised if it holds out until 12/1. So excited to see them at the record release show!
