"It's very important for me to materialize this album, to gather in it a series of ideas. Each song, for me, is an action", said Linn da Quebrada about "Pajubá", her debut album, to be concretized via crowdfunding campain.
Considered one of the voices of TLGB movement in music, the singer wants to make a resistance landmark of her new album. "'Pajubá' is resistance language, built from the insertion of words and expressions of Western African origin. It is mainly used by transvestites and a large part of the TLGB community", she explained. "I call this album 'Pajubá' because, for me, it is a construction of language and invention, it's the act of naming. It's resistance once again", Linn pointed out.
Besides the name, the album itself is fundamented on an empowerment space. "The idea is to produce a space for sexual intervention, a network of support and strengthening between the feminine, regardless of the body which it is located", said the artist. "It's for believing in this union that I see this album as the result of a collective construction, in which each one, from their own territory, will help as best as they can".
