Morrissey has announced details of a new album.
‘Low In High-School’ will be released on 17th November, and be the former Smiths man’s first for new home, BMG, which will host his own Etienne Records.
The album was recorded in both France and Italy, and produced by Joe Chiccarelli.
“There are not many artists around today that can compare to Morrissey,” says Korda Marshall, EVP of BMG. “He is an extraordinary talent. He is prodigious, literate, witty, elegant and above all, courageous. His lyrics, humour and melodies have influenced many generations. The music on this new landmark record will speak for itself and we are delighted to welcome him to BMG.”
Morrissey will also play Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl on 10th November.
The record is the follow-up to 2014’s ‘World Peace Is None Of Your Business’.
Really like Spent The Day In Bed and i’ve heard some other tracks live, i’m excited for this one. Didn’t think I would be.
Morrissey is back, with the anti establishment theme alive and truly kicking! We can’t help wonder though Moz, why you boycott playing live in Canada due to seal culling, yet play live in Tel Aviv and Israel? Oh the irony and hypocrisy.
Legend!
I liked all the first two singles. Then Jack’s Only Happy came out and it didn’t do much for me.
Will still listen to the album on apple music once it releases. (at least Morrissey isn’t a douche [most the time LOL] like other artist and keep their albums from streaming because they are self entitled..)
Where has it leaked?
