American production duo The Knocks are set to release an extended play, titled 'Testify', on Feb 3rd 2017. The EP is proceeded by two singles, 'Heat' with frequent collaborator and front man of X Ambassadors Sam Harris, and 'Trouble' featuring Absofacto's soothing vocals.
Speaking about the latest single, the duo reveal "We originally wrote the song with Abso in NYC at our studio as a slow, piano ballad, at 90 bpm, the idea was to write something that felt melancholy and classic. After we laid down the original idea, he left and we started experimenting with it -- treating it like a sample -- totally chopping it up and flipping it."
The Knocks will head out on a 21 date tour in support of the EP, starting on the release date in Vancouver.
