Lillake, the band featuring guitarist and vocalist Nico Santora (ex-Suicidal Tendencies, ex-The Faceless), drummer Eric Moore (ex-Infectious Grooves, ex-Suicidal Tendencies), bassist Alex Vasquez (ex-Abiotic), and guitarist Bill Pogan released their debut record Become in 2016. The record was very well-received around these parts, and for good reason – it's fantastic, heavy progressive metal. Lillake seems poised to repeat that onslaught of praise with their new record Memory Lies, as their new track "Waste" is right in line with everything that made the debut so good.
Memory Lies is Lillake's first record with both Vasquez and Pogan. Vasquez replaces ex-bassist Bruno Dosjax, while Pogan replaces Steven Funderburk (Through the Eyes of the Dead, Wretched). Memory Lies is out January 11.
