When you think of musical centers of the world Springfield, Missouri, often doesn't come to mind. Hold Close just might change that though.
After release two of the best pop-punk records of the past few years, capturing all the honesty & emotion of the early 2010's Warped scene, reminiscent of bands like early The Story So Far & Man Overboard, "I'll Never Go Back" & "I Was Never Meant To Stay" put Hold Close on every pop-punk fan's radar.
Now set to go on stacked tour opening for As It Is & Sharptooth, & release their debut full-length "Time", Hold Close are showing their ambitions to go for a more ernest, pop-rock sound to show that going "pop" can hit just as hard as getting heavier.
"Time" is poised to be Hold Close's career defining release, but thankfully they have the tunes to back it up.
