Stalkers is the second single of my upcoming debut album Mundane which will be released May 28th. I wrote the song after watching Stalker by filmmaker Tarkovsky and a documentary on real stalkers on their way to Pripyat. The beat of the drums and repetitive vocals emphasize the determination of stalkers and like-minded people moving forward to find a different world.
The music video made by Jochem Baelus illustrates Stalkers' post-apocalyptic journey perfectly with black and white high-contrast filmic scenes that also depict our current status quo.
