ROLO TOMASSI have announced a new album!
Titled Where Myth Becomes Memory, the upcoming album from the UK progressive band is the follow-up to 2018’s critically acclaimed Time Will Die And Love Will Bury It and is scheduled to be released in February next year, via MNRK Heavy.
“This is a really important album for all of us,” explains keyboardist/vocalist James Spence about the upcoming album. “Of anything we’ve done, it’s the one I’m most proud of. I think it’s the most ambitious and creative that our band has ever sounded and something that we’ve all needed to get through the last few years. We can’t wait to share it and to have you help us bring it to life.”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Drip. The new song is the second single to be showcased from the forthcoming album, following on from the release of Cloaked, which was released back in August.
Speaking about the new song, guitarist Chris Cayford says, “when we start the writing process for each record, we always wait for the first song that clicks. It feels similar to our music but is also intangibly different to the extent we know it’s the next step and we need to build the album around it. This was the song that did that.”
