Hellfire is the next third album of the English rock band Black Midi, scheduled to be released on July 15, 2022 by Rough Trade Records. It was preceded by single singles “Welcome to Hell” and “Eat Men Eat”, and was enhanced by the accompanying world tours from May to December 2022.
Hellfire was recorded during a party split in London, with singer Geordie Greep calling Hellfire a "famous action film [...] if Cavalcade was a drama". He described the characters portrayed in the album as "wicked. Almost everything I write comes from the real thing, the thing I experienced was an exaggeration and I wrote it down. I do not believe in hell, but all that stupidity of the old world is good with songs."
During the group's 2022 tour, "Welcome to Hell" shirts are on sale on July 15, 2022 hidden on the phone number. Many of the previously unreleased songs from Hellfire have been performed by a group on the go. In the first week of May the band posted comedy clips and a browser game like Tetris, which included a MIDI version of their song "Welcome to Hell". On May 9, the band unveiled their third album and released the song as one with a video directed by Gustaf Holtenäs, who also directed the video "Slow" from Cavalcade. On June 15, a new song titled "Eat Men Eat" was released and features a music video by Maxim Kelly, who also directed Black Music "" Concorde "music video, New Road.
