Breach is the upcoming eighth studio album by Twenty One Pilots, set for release on September 12, 2025, via Fueled by Ramen. Described as the final chapter in the band’s long-running narrative arc—spanning from Blurryface through Trench, Scaled and Icy, and Clancy—Breach is expected to be their darkest, most genre-blurring release yet. The lead single, “The Contract,” dropped in June and blends nu-metal, hyperpop, and emo-rap influences with dystopian visuals and paranoid lyrics. Fans have latched onto the album’s cryptic rollout, full of Easter eggs and story tie-ins, further fueling anticipation.
The tracklist includes 13 songs with titles like “RAWFEAR,” “Robot Voices,” and “Cottonwood,” hinting at a chaotic and emotionally charged soundscape. Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun are once again joined by producer Paul Meany, and the album will be supported by an extended North American leg of The Clancy Tour, branded specifically around Breach. Vinyl preorders are already live, including multiple color variants. With Breach, Twenty One Pilots are aiming for a dramatic, lore-heavy conclusion to a decade-long saga—one that could either cement their legacy or blow the whole thing apart.
