Chevelle La Gárgola

Chevelle is a band formed in 1995 from Grayslake, Illinois. They have made a total of 6 full length albums and 2 live albums. Their latest, Hats Off To The Bull, came out on December 6th, 2011.

After wrapping up touring in support of Hats off to the Bull in 2013, Chevelle entered the studio to record their seventh album re-teaming with Joe Barresi to produce the album. Recording and production finished early in 2014, and the band announced on February 1 that the album, to be released April 1, 2014, would be titled "La Gárgola" with the first single titled "Take Out the Gunman" debuting on February 4 on Youtube and Chevelle's website. "Take Out The Gunman" was released onto iTunes and other major digital distributors on February 11th, 2014.

On February 14th, Chevelle opened pre-orders for their new album. These were limited edition albums, featuring a band member's face of the buyer's choice along with a t-shirt featuring the album art, autographed booklet, and the names of the first 1,000 buyers. These editions of the album, autograph included, are available until April 1st, the release date of the album.

On February 24th, the album art and track listing was released on their facebook page.

On March 18th, "Hunter Eats Hunter" was released with the pre-order of the album on iTunes.
