One of the bestindie bands to emerge from Brooklyn in Diiv’s wake are this trio. Equal parts Blondie, The Cure and Tame Impala, their brand of blissed out indie sounds exhilarating.
Human Ceremony is the bands debut album. Sunflower Bean make wonderful, reverb-soaked music about things they are too young to even romanticize. All three members of the band are under 21, and yet they sing with the wistfulness of souls that are decades beyond their years. Sunflower Bean take a Velvet Underground-inspired foundation and mutate it for their own use and creation.

i love new bands , new music big music fan , but this i feel IMO is over hyped , sadly , maybe i was expecting more than what was delivered . go check seafrets album instead . who knows maybe it be a grower.
