Winnipeg gloom-pop outfit Animal Teeth are ready to release their debut LP Happy to See You next week, but Exclaim! is giving you the chance to hear it early and in its entirety right now.
The 10-song set was mostly recorded last spring at band member Adam Nikkel's parents' farmhouse in Sanford, MB. Projecting their own brand of lo-fi mope rock, the band deliver songs about personal relationships and feelings, though tracks like "Pussycat" and "BQE" hear them meandering off into more expansive, spacey ramblings too.
Coming off a gig at this past weekend's Big Fun Festival, the band will be heading out to play a string of shows in Western Canada later this month.
Happy to See You is officially out on February 10 through Slow Shine Records.
