Founded in 2013, 4 of the 5 members of Arming The Architect worked together on metal projects in the past.
"We completely amped up the sound and writing structure with ATA". Arming the Architect brings a brutal heaviness but maintains emotion in the music, with layering and dynamics that draws the listener in. "The energy is insane when these guys play!", is a comment we hear often as we pride ourselves in bringing a high energy, entertaining live performance.
Mosh (vocalist) adds a gritty vocal edge going from warm melody to searing screams, dug from the soul. Over 40 years of guitar experience between Jed and Ryan infuses layered, intricate riffs with tight knit breakdowns and elaborate neck work. Jason brings the heavy, with guttural bass tones that accent the groove. Justin (AKA Heater) deftly intertwines syncopation and structure keeping all the layers together.

Review from a fan Yohnson1024, October 31st, 2013 on Itunes in regard to Arming the Architect - EP. "Arming the Architect is one of those bands i just luckily stumbled upon. After listening to this EP and being initially appealed by it, I was assuming that it would quickly fade from memory; however, time revealed that it is a lot more memorable than i had guessed. Each time I revisit this EP , I like it more. "
"We had a great crowd response from our live performances during the summer of 2013, and went bigger in 2014. " We opened up for Hellyeah, Saliva and Tantric for a crowd of 3,000 people in June 2014. We placed in the runner up position for Warped Tour Battle of the Bands for Merriweather Post Pavilion venue out of Columbia, MD for 2014 and we are currently working on our first full length release slated for the Spring/Summer of 2015.
