Ingrid Michaelson's new album will be called "It Doesn't Have to Make Sense". Ingrid said about the album title: "The name came from something I learned recently. I kept trying to make sense of the ups and downs in my life. And I couldn't. Whenever I let go, I felt better. I love the concept of NOT trying to define and quantify everything. It doesn't have to make sense!".
Although she had written 30 songs for this album , the album will have only 10 songs. Ingrid said "It was difficult but I think I chose the right 10. The songs reflect all the different spaces my head and heart have been in the last 2 years."
The first single is "Hell No". "It Doesn't Have to Make Sense" will be released August 26th, 2016
