"Bang Bang" is Green Day's lead single from their upcoming album, whose title is still to be announced. The album is expected later this year. "Bang Bang" single information was leaked out the afternoon of July 31st by WMMR radio in Pittsburg, later confirmed by Green Day Authority. Around midnight that same day, Billie Joe Armstrong took to Instagram to officially announce the single, which will be out on August 11th.
