American singer-songwriter and musician, Chris Garneau combines elements of folk, Americana, and pop, citing Jeff Buckley, Nina Simone, Nico and Cat Power as influences. Since releasing his debut album "Music for Tourists" in 2006, Garneau has toured throughout the United States, Canada, Brazil, Europe, and Asia. His last album, "Winter Games", was released in 2013.
In the Fall of 2016, Garneau relocated to Los Angeles, California, and announced he started working on his fourth full-length record in Lyon, France, his "most grand, epic, yet my most cohesive and coordinated album to date". With the recording and producing nearly finished, Garneau announced a financed crowdfunding campain though indiegogo for the mix, master & release of the album along with two music videos (as well as - if reaching the goal - a donation of $1,250 to non-profit organization V-DAY: Eve Ensler's global movement to end violence against women and girls).
According to Garneau, when bringing the first collection of songs to the co-producers, after one week of working in the studio together, "the songs turned from being new and exciting ones to totally explosive, dark, complex adventures".
